r1cfDESCRIPTION:r0 c7Search for files using the Archie interface
c2
Archie allows you to search for files on the Internet. The following
documentation will help you to navigate the Archie sub-menu options.
c6Available Commands in Archie:
c5 C c1(case sensitivity)
ccAllows you to make the text match to be force case sensitive
(capitol-letter sensitive) or not.
c5 M c1(maximum number of matches)
ccAllows you to pick the maximum number of matches that
Archie can display from the search.
c5 E c1(enter text to search for)
ccYou may enter a search string. This text may be a partial
file name or a complete file name. Archie will try to match the
given search string with all of the files available through the
Archie server.
c5 A c1(choose from a list of available Archie Internet servers)
ccAllows you to pick an Archie server from a listing.
This is helpful should one site not respond or does not have
the information you are searching for.
c5 Q c1(quit to main menu)
ccReturns you to the main INetShell menu.
c5 B c1(begin the search)
ccThis option will only appear if you have entered a search
string (see the "E" option). It will pass the parameters to
the Archie program and start searching the Internet for your
requested information. Note, this may take some time (2-5
minutes at times) as some Archie servers queue up search re-
quests.
